a short escape to Pangkor

Good morning guys! Eh, rasa macam dah tengah hari .Tapi macam pagi lagi. Tengahari ke pagi nih? Ahh, pa pe je lah.

So, today tak de tazkirah pepanjang, educated post or life quote ke apa, cumanya i nak share about our trip to Pangkor yesterday. Yuhuuuu!

Actually trip nih bukan plan asal kitorang. Plan asal nak pergi Pulau Perhentian yang lagi cantik, best vavaavoom tu tapi disebabkan beberapa halangan , so kitorang decided Pulau Pangkor. Selepas 2-3 minggu , barulah dapat the exact number of members. Itu pun puas PM sensorang.

So, here we go!

Kitorang semua datang dari tempat lain-lain. Aku dengan Syafiqah ( kawan UIA) dari KL. Aman & Jat from Alor Setar ( kot) and Auni & Sarihah from Gurun. Atiqah ( kawan Jat) and her family are soooooo nicee. Serius cakap. Diorang sediakan makan minum (beli tau, bukan masak), pick up kitorang semua, sediakan rumah asing pulak tu. Ohhh my !! May Allah bless them.

Sampai je Jeti Lumut, Atiqah bawak kitorang terus ke kaunter tiket.Oh ya, waktu tu dah pukul 2 rasanya. Tak tengok jam sangat sebab dah terover excited. Hihihihi.
Murah je, tiket pergi balik sorang RM14.00. Simpan tiket nih elok-elok, kalau hilang tak ke rugi nak kena beli lain.

Then, at 2.15 p.m, naiklah kitorang feri tu.Mereput lah jugak dalam tu sebab dari Lumut ke Pangkor took 40-45 min jugaklah. Haa, nak pesan kalau kalau korang pergi, jangan tersalah jeti pulak. Feri akan stop kat first point, itu Jeti Sg. Pinang. *pesan sebab kitorang ingat tu dah sampai Pangkor. Punyalah angkat barang semua, tengok-tengok tersalah pulak. Except me : sebab aku tengah duduk lagi, diorang semua dah beratur nak keluar* Ok. Sedekah HA HA HA HA untuk diorang.

Hampir 3.00 p.m, maka berlabuhlah sauh di jeti pangkor. Eh, feri guna sauh ke?? Hmmm. Entahla. Tak kot. Alhamdulillah, sampai je terus Tuan homestay sambut dengan 3 buah motor dan sebuah perodua Kancil. Bags , luggages and some small kits je campak dalam kereta. Kitorang berenam tunggang motor ke homestay lead by Tuan homestay. Secantik awak . Auucchh!

Praise to him, sebab selamat sampai homestay and agak terkejut bila bukak pintu homestay tu, sebab.....

sebab...

sebab...

so luas and kemas and cantik and perfect semua benda. Single bedroom ada 2, master room 1 + air-cond, fridge, tv ( njoi ) , living room+ air-cond, kitchen + stove, gas, basic ingredientss utk memasak. Sangat tak masuk akal dengan hanya RM50 for 2 days 1 night sekali package snorkeling+ island hoping+3 motorcycles!!! Ha, tunggu apa lagi??? Grab this chance. Details, nanti i kasi kat bawah, k? But, bayar dulu RM30, penat menaip nih. Jkjkjkjkjkjk.

Lupalah nak snap ruang tamu! sorry.

Lepas solat, rehat and makan-makan, hampir pukul 5 jugak lah, kitorang keluar pusing-pusing around Pangkor. Nice view! But hati-hati sebab jalan curam plus bengkang-bengkok. Petang tu, santai- santai je. Penuhkan memory phone memasing.

Dutch fort, cantik tempat nih. Tempat peninggalan Belanda. Dulu, sewaktu Belanda masuk Melaka, diorang jelajah Perak sebabnya Perak kan terkenal dengan lombong bijih timah. So, diorang bertapak lah kat sini.

Siap beli barang semua ( macam banyak je kan? padahal roti & kaya, air , meggi je), kitorang singgah kat sebelah kedai tu, ada macam verandah acah-acah atas air. Verandah ni under construction lagi. Tapi sebabkan scene dia menusuk kalbu, kitorang redah je.

Habis pusing-pusing, memasing penat dan nak balik ke homestay. On the way nak balik tu, ternampak the verrrryyyy mise en sce'ne sunset. Subhanallah! Betullah omputih cakap;

" Sunset are proof that no matter what happens, every day can end beautifully"

Tenang!

Sangat mendamaikan.

Sebab nak shot scene yang superb nih, kitorang campak je motor tepi jalan tu. Hahah. Dah tak kesah yang makhluk lain sedang memerhati. HUHUHU.

Lepas penuhkan memory phone lagi, terus ke motor. Sebuku roti yang baru beli tadi dah hilang guys ! Dah hilang. Sebabnya makhluk bebulu tadi curik. Dasar kera lapar, jamuan sakan lah dia ngan orang kampung. Sebuku panjang tu dalam 20 pieces kot. Cemana pun, redha je la. Hahahah.

Almost 7.30 p.m sampai homestay. Rehat, mandi-mandi then makan. Pukul 9, muka memasing dah macam zombie tak cukup tidur, eh zombie tidur ke?? Entah lah. Nak cakap yang semua dah mengantuk.

Tapi tak best lah terus tidur kan?

So, kitorang bincanglah nak layan movie apa sebab Aman hangkut beg laptop dia sekali, start dari anime ke thriller balik ke romance belok ke comedy, last-last tengok Forum Perdana. Tapi tak lama pun, pukul 10, layan Dark Shadows TV3 tu sambil borak-borak. Pukul 12 semua dah ke alam lain.

Yeahh! Hari yang dinanti-nantikan dah sampai.

Puas doh nak kejut sensorang bangun. Jat siap bercoffee dah. Nak kejut nih kena pasang lagu Projector Band- Aisyah dulu. Nyanyi ramai-ramai baru mau. Then, bila dah semua segar walau pun tak mandi, masing-masing bersiap simple simple je and terus ngap roti Massimo- yang baru beli ganti roti yang dirompak dek kera semalam.

Sampai je, kitorang kena dengar talk sikit about island hoping and snorkeling nih. Then, sensorang dapatlah life jacket and google. Heksaited beb!! First time pergi trip ngan kengkawan!

On the way ke situ, ada macam-macam pulau. Tapi tak ingat pun nama pulau-pulau tu sebab banyak and susah nak sebut. Ada satu pulau ni, ada batu bentuk buaya, besar ngat ngat, ada jugak bentuk kepala whale and the last one bentuk penyu.

Banyak! ( dah nama pun laut. Takkan nak ada sekor due je ) Siap buat flying kiss lagi. Hahahah. Tipu! Just nak cakap yang air die sangatlah crystal clear.

9.45 a.m, start snorkeling. Kitorang kena campak kat Pualau Giam nih berenam je. Tak de pengawasan, cuak lah jugak but dont worry insha Allah ada lifee jacket, ko selamat plus ada 3 mamat Chinese from Singapore. Diorang snorkeling area situ jugak. Punya seksa waktu nak pakal google ngan tube tu, sebab bau dia tak menyenangkan. Nak termuntah jugak lah sampai leleh-leleh air mata aku. Finally, lepas beberapa minit plus rendam google ngan tube tu dalam air, baru lalu nak pakai.

At first, semua macam takut nak terjun. Hahaha, sebab masing-masing tak pernah. But, kalau tak cuba, how do we know, aite? Dengan takut-takut, gagahkan jugak turun. Mula-mula, berjerit jugaklah sebab tetiba banyak gila ikan kat keliling aku.Punyalah musykil, kenapa banyak sangat nih, comel sangat ke aku ni sampai ikan-ikan pun tergoda. Auucchh! Then, barulah tau, rupanya aku terbawak roti masuk laut. Memang berebut lah ikan-ikan tu. Geli beb sebab dia main gigit-gigit pulak. Eeeee. Babap kang!

Selam punya selam , angkat kepala, tetiba dah sampai tengah tengah area snorkeling tu. Mana takut tadi cik hawa?? Dah simpan dalam poket ke? hahahah.

Sumpah best! Geram doh tengok ikan comel-comel.Tangan ni memang tak duduk diam. Rasa nak picit-picit ikan tu tapi memang tak boleh lah.

Ok, nak tanya, apa korang rasa kalau tetiba life jacket korang dah loose, nak tercabut and time tu ada kat tengah-tengah laut? Ko rase? Gelabah bewak wey! HUHHU. Yap, satu tali life jacket aku tercabut. Baru satu dah gelabah. Hahahaha. Tapi muka cool. Selam lah slow-slow ke tepi . Betulkan tali tadi. Fuh!!! Nebes mak. Then sambung pusing-pusing snorkeling area tu.

Lepas hampir dua jam kat situ, kitorang pun berehat kejap, bergambar apa semua. Then call abang boat tadi. Sebab nak buat island hoping pulak. 5 mint kemudian abang sampai, pusinglah tengok-tengok pulau. Actually, lebih dari 5 buah pulau kat situ. Nama-nama tak ingat. Hahahhaa.

And this area will become an island bila masuk CNY sebab the dehydrated salt kat situ akan membentuk pulau kecik. Awesome kan??

Inilah tempat cetek tu

Hampir setengah jam untuk island hoping, abang boat tinggalkan kami kat Monkey bay. Kat situ bolehlah nak rehat-rehat kejap. Penat ! Aku ngan auni bersantai elok je tepi pantai. Yang lain nun jauh kat sebelah sana tengah main air. Sambil-sambil rehat tu, ada Indian beach boy panggil kasi anak giant crab, comel doh.Tapi ni warna putih. Then dia panggil lagi, kali ni kasik timun laut. Dia cakap tadah je tangan, aku pun ikut jelah, pastu terus dia letak makhluk panjang -gemuk-lembik-hitam-coklat tu atas tapak tangan! Bapak geli woi!! Berjerit lah alamatnya. Lama-lama boleh je nak handle makhluk tu tapi tu lah, geli tu tak nak hilang. Jat dah lari jauh dah. Auni keje snap gambar je, sebab dia pun geli nak pegang. Aman ngan Pikah, boleh pegang tapi muka cuak jugak. Hahahahahha.

Dekat Monkey bay ni kitorang duduk dalam sejam lebih je, sebab nak main watersports pulak. Hihihihi. so, call lah abang bot tadi untuk pick up kitorang ke tempat asal, Teluk Nipah.

Di sinilah, segala watersports disediakan. Satu game RM20/person. Tapi kalau ko main 3 games, ko dapat RM50/person je. Nak jimat and enjoy lagi, baik ko try yang RM50 tu.

Adnventure! Enjoyable! Fun! Seronok and puas giler.

Huge roller's

Poparazzi

Great marble

Hampir sejam main plus bergambar, masing-masing dah penat namati, muka barai teruk, maka, pulanglah kami ke teratak nadira homestay. Sebelum balik, beli rojak and bihun sup buat bekal.

On the way balik, tayar motor Aman pancit bakhang ! Only 80 meter je pun nak sampai homestay. Sesampai sana, tetiba abang watersports tadi datang kasi motor diorang.

Aku kat rumah dah tak tahan lapar sangat, melantak bihun sup sensorang dengan seluar penuh pasir kat luar rumah.( kunci rumah Jat yang pegang)  Tanjat mak tau, tengah seronok makan, baru dua suap, diorang plus abang watersport tu dah sampai rumah.

Alhamdulillah, semua selamat.

Bila dah masuk rumah tu, masing-masing berebut bilik mandi. Siap bersihkan badan, sama-sama makan kat ruang tamu. Rehat-rehat plus berkemas untuk pulang ke realiti. Oh maigod! Tak nak balik!!!!

Pukul 3 lebih, check out. Sama macam waktu pergi, kitorang tunggang motor ke Jeti Pangkor. Pulangkan kunci motor kat Tuan homestay. And bergambar as memories kan? Lepas dah said, bye-bye and thanks  kat Tuan homestay, mata memasing melilau carik kedai makan. Makanya, ketemu juga akhirnya. Melantak lagi kat situ.

4.15 p.m , feri kitorang dah sampai. naik je terus, Letak je punggung atas kusyen, semua dah macam " fuh, penat. Rehat jap" sambil scroll phone memasing. 5.15 p.m sampai di Jeti Lumut. Terus serbu kaunter tiket bas. Alhamdulillah, tak perlu tunggu lelama kat situ, tiket balik ke KL pukul 6.00p.m. Yang lain pukul 6.30p.m. Sementara menunggu jodoh datang, eh bas datang, took some photos !

12.45 a.m. selamat sampai UIA. Goshhh!!

LIFE

Everything happens with reasons.

Allah jadikan dunia sifatnya begini kerna ada sebab
Sebab?

supaya kita tidak t'aaluq dengan dunia.
supaya kita kembali padaNya.
Rahimnya Allah.

But,
Berapa ramai yang tinggalkan sejadah,
Berpaling pada selainnya?

Bila ditimpa musibah
Kita mengeluh
Kita menyalahkan Dia
tapi kita tak sedar
Semua itu kita yang salah

Tapi Dia masih sayaaaaang kita
Dia bagi kita hikmah
Dia bagi kita what so called the second chance

When they got the happiness,
They forget the Giver.
Then,
He come again.
Knock our hearts with more 'happiness',
The tears rolling down,

We feel sad,
We feel hurt.
But then,
The flowers and rainbows visit us.

How sweet is Him. Allah

Moga maksudnya sampai. :)

pray for each other okay?

Sakit rupanya menahan rindu nih.

Hahahha. kenapa tetiba je nih wa?
entah.
maybe sebab terlampau hadam lagu westlife tadi: if i let you go?

"If I Let You Go"

Day after day
Time passed away
And I just can't get you off my mind
Nobody knows, I hide it inside
I keep on searching but I can't find

The courage to show to letting you know
I've never felt so much love before

And once again I'm thinking about
Taking the easy way out

But if I let you go I will never know
What my life would be holding you close to me
Will I ever see you smiling back at me?
How will I know
 if I let you go?

Night after night I hear myself say
Why can't this feeling just fade away
There's no one like you (no one like you)
You speak to my heart (speak to my heart)
It's such a shame we're worlds apart

I'm too shy to ask, I'm too proud to lose
But sooner or later I gotta choose
And once again I'm thinking about
Taking the easy way out

But if I let you go I will never know
What my life would be, holding you close to me
Will I ever see you smiling back at me? (oh yeah)
How will I know
if I let you go ?

If I let you go ooooh baby
Ooooooooohhhhh

Once again I'm thinking about
Taking the easy way out
Ooooooooohhhhh

But if I let you go I will never know
What my life would be, holding you close to me

Will I ever see you smiling back at me?

How will I know

But if I let you go I will never know

Will I ever see you smiling back at me?

How will I know
f I let you go ?

Honestly ni bukan rindu-pakwe-makwe k?

Ini rindu memori memori lalu.
Kenangan di sekolah. Sebab ada kisah di sebalik lagu ni.

Dear friends,
You meet someone,
Then both get closer,
Its all great for a while,
Then someone stop trying,
Talk less awkward conversations,
The drifting.

No conversations and what so ever,
Memories start to fade,
Then the person you know became the person you knew,
That's how usually goes , right?

But us,
I hope it isnt happen to,
No matter how busy you're,
How higher you're,
please let my name in your prayer.

Truly i'm missing you, missing your smiles, your laughs,

We pray for each other, okay?

Muhammadiyah in Indonesia

BACKGROUND

Indonesia flag

Indonesia or officially the Republic of Indonesia, is a unitary sovereign state and transcontinental country located mainly in Southest Asia. Situated between the Indian and Pacific oceans, it is the world's largest island country with more than seventeen thousand islands[1]. Indonesia is the world's 14th largest country in terms of land area and world's 7th largest country in terms of combined sea and land area. Indonesia flag is consist of red and white strips which is similar to Poland and Monaco flag. In Indonesia, the flag is also known as Sang Saka Merah Putih.

INTRODUCTION

Muhammadiyah (Arabic: محمدية) or the full name is Pensyarikatan Muhammadiyah is a major Islamic non-governmental organization in Indonesia. The organization was foundin 1912 by Ahmad Dahlan in the city of Yogjakarta as a reformist socio-religious movement, advocating ijtihad- individual interpretation of Al-quranand Sunnah , as opposed to taqlid- the acceptance of the traditional interpretation propounded by Ulama'

The name of Muhammadiyah has been taken from the name of our last Prophet, Muhammad (S.A.W) and followed by ya nisbiah محمدية at the back which mean characterizing. Judging from the name literally in fact all Muslims are Muhammadiyah. The  word  is  later  became  the  name  of  a  group  or  organization.

MUHAMMADIYAH FLAG

Every organization has their own flag and symbol to identify their identity so same goes to this group.Muhammadiyah flag consists of a sun with the twelve rays around it. At the centre of the sun, there is an Arabic words محمدية and around it there is a kalimah syahadah: asyhadu an la ila ha illa Allah on top and wa asyhadu anna muhammadar rasulAllah at thr bottom.

All the symbol is white on the green background. Each symbol has its own meaning. The symbol of the sun means the focal point in the solar system and a source of strength of all living things on earth. If the sun becomes source of life, Muhammadiyah is expected to be a source of spiritual strength to Islamic values with a core of two sentences creed (kalimah syahadah). Next, the twelve white rays are symbolized the determination and strength of Muhammadiyah members in fighting for Islam, and the spirit undaunted and unyielding as the apostle of prophet Isa totaling 12 ( Ø§Ù„حواريي ). Furthermore, the white color in the whole image of the sun symbolizes purity and sincerity and the green color is the basic color which means peace and prosperity.

HISTORY

Muhammadiyah was founded in Kauman Village, Yogyakarta, on Dzulhijjah 8, 1330 in Islamic calendar or November 18, 1912 by a man named Muhammad Darwis, who is at a later time known as KHA Dahlan. He used to be a royal servant in Yogyakarta Sultanate Royal Palace in charge of being a preacher, and he also worked as a trader.  Seeing a rigid, obstinate condition of Muslims at that moment full of mystical rituals, he was touched to urge people to go back to real Islamic teachings based on Al Qur’an and Hadith (the sayings and deeds of Prophet Muhammad). Therefore, at the breaks of his activity as a preacher and trader, he taught religious teachings at home.

Initially, people declined his teaching; however, owing to his patience and resilience, his family and close friends gradually accepted it. His trading occupation truly supported his urging, so in a short time his teachings went beyond Kauman Village, reaching outside the region and even Java Island. To organize his activities, he founded Muhammadiyah organization that nowadays exists nationwide.

Ahmad Dahlan, much influenced by Egyptian reformist Muhammad ‘Abduh, considered modernization and purification of religion from syncretic practices were very vital in reforming this religion. Therefore, since its beginning Muhammadiyah has been very concerned with maintaining tawhid, and refining monotheism in society.

Apart from giving lessons/knowledge to men, KHA Dahlan also taught women in a study forum called "Sidratul Muntaha". At daybreak, he taught male and female children, and he taught grown-ups at night. KHA Dahlan led Muhammadiyah from 1912 to 1922, the period still using organizational yearly meeting system. On the 11th meeting, Muhammadiyah was under KH Ibrahim’s chairmanship until 1934. In 1926, annual meeting changed to yearly congress that at a later time changed to every-3-year congress. Today, Muhammadiyah congress is held every 5 year. Muhammadiyah has generally avoided politics. Unlike Nahdatul Ulama, it never formed a political party. Since its establishment, it has devoted itself to educational and social activities.

THE PRINCIPLE

Intent and purpose of Muhammadiyah was established as a religious reform movement cannot be separated from Muhammadiyah views about the status and functions of the Qur’an and Sunnah, reason and order of social life. As we can see, Muhammadiyah efforts to enforce and uphold the religion of Islam that originated in Al qu’an, Sunnah. Hence, there are some principles that they adopt in their movement in order to make sure the Muhammadiyah Movement is in line with syariah.

Firstly.the principle of monotheism. It is means that Muhammadiyah movement should be the realization of faith, oneness of God,worship Allah only. Beside that, the principle of mercy .Muhammadiyah movement should be the realization and execution of Islamic mercy. They must do the dakwah in a good manner and invite people to Islam wisely. Other than that, the principle of caliphate. That is to say that Muhammadiyah Movement should be the elaboration and execution of caliphate function of Muslims in life.

In addition, the principle of benefit. Muhammadiyah movement should pay attention to public benefit. For instance, they establish schools for students, build the hospitals and many more. These are crucial for the betterment of ummah. Next, the principle of flexibility .It is mean that Muhammadiyah program should be flexible and effective by efficiently utilizing human resources. The central committee structure consists of five advisors, a chairman, a vice chairman, a secretary general and some deputies, a treasurer and some deputies, as well as several deputies of chairman.

 CHALLENGES/THREATS

Every Islamic Movements must have faced a lot of challenges throughout their work. The challenges become a part of their journey, as a barrier that they have to face in order to achieve their goals. Muhammadiyah is also not excepted from these challenges. Among the challenges faced by Muhammadiyah are: the flow of secularism-materialism attacking the world becomes a big temptation and challenge for Muhammadiyah members to be able to strongly hold to their commitment in Muhammadiyah life and to make Islam as a religion of rahmatan lil-‘alamin (mercy for the entire world).

Besides, the radical tendency in socio-political and religious movements producing conflict and violence becomes a challenge for Muhammadiyah in offering Islamic Movement that brings peace, light, and mercy for the entire world. The grip of global capitalism that affects the world development and life orientation based on profit, exploitation, material worship, and worldly pleasure in the life of the world community also becomes a challenge to Muhammadiyah when it affects the development of Muhammadiyah’s charity and services to be profit-oriented and far away from the theology/ideology of Al-Ma’un.

Lastly, ASEAN Charter and the movement of geo-political, geo-economical, and geo-social-cultural gravity center from Europe and North America to Asia, especially China, can be a threat and challenge for Muhammadiyah when they are not responded by Muhammadiyah in a concrete way. The threat is that Muhammadiyah can be an outdated organization.

ACTIVITIES AND CONTRIBUTION

Muhammadiyah, in The Encyclopedia of Britannica is noted as Muslim reformist organization. As a Muslim reformist in nature, the main activities of Muhammadiyah are related to religion and education. It has also functioned as charitable organization.

In the aspect of education, Muhammadiyah has established two types of formal school for early education which are the modern school and the pesantren. The schools are the same like the government schools. Some of the modern schools are even open to non-Muslim. And for the informal education, they also have traditional pesantren which the teaching and learning sessions are conducted traditionally whereby the students will sit in front of the teacher and read the religious treatise between the lines. They have approximately 5754 schools of these types all over Indonesia. For the higher education, they also build Muhammadiyah universities in many regions in Indonesia. These universities offer courses just like the other local universities. And some of the branches even have make connection with universities outside of the country.

In the aspect of social and charity, Muhammadiyah has built several hundreds of medical clinics and hospital. They also have orphanages and also welfare home. It functions to provide shelter and residential care for the needy children and orphans. It also has been appointed by Ministry of Social and Family Development as one of the governmental body in charge of charity and social works.  In religious aspect, Muhammadiyah movement has their own mosques all around Indonesia. Their mosques also function as a place for social activities.

CONCLUSION
At the moment, Muhammadiyah is the second largest Islamic organization in Indonesia with 29 million members after the Nahdatul Ulama. Although Muhammadiyah leaders and members are often actively involved in shaping the politics in Indonesia, Muhammadiyah is not a political party. It has devoted itself to social and educational activities. Their main vision is to realize the real Islamic society and they are getting near to achieve it.
